Due to lots of factors in my life I have neglected updating this blog. Since my last post I have taken on the job of Executive Director of Johnson County Christian Lodge, a homelessness recovery center located in Cleburne, Texas. I have had two surgeries, my wife has had surgery, my daughter has had surgery, my mother died, my mother-in-law (who lives with us) fell and broke her hip and my sister-in-law died. Everything in the last sentence happened in the last year.
But now I'm ready to get back out there and do more Gospel Illusions for Good News Clubs, Churches, schools, parades, or any other opportunity God places in my path. I am now a registered member of the Fellowship of Christian Magicians.
Give me a call at 817-992-0141 or email me at bwissore@sbcglobal.net and we can discuss rates for coming to your next event.

New lights for the Caboose
Thanks to a recent donation of a larger generator the caboose now has the capability to do night or evening presentations. We now have 3,000 watts of light to illuminate the stage which greatly increases the times of year when the caboose can be utilized. I recently did a Children's Revival at Brazos River Baptist Church near Granbury. It was the first time I have been able to do a service after dark.
If you would like to have the Caboose for your event please feel free to give me a call. 817-992-0141.

The Caboose is back on the road!

After about 5 weeks off due to someone rear-ending and totalling my van (the caboose tow vehicle) the Good News Caboose is back on the road. I was able to take it to the Back-to-School Extravaganza sponsored by Tarrant Net on August 16 thanks to the generous loan of their truck by the Cumby family. But God has blessed us with a new Ford Expedition that will get us back into the ministry.
I'm hoping to go help out as many Good News Clubs as possible this school year.
For those of you who aren't familiar with the caboose, I travel all over the metroplex putting on Gospel Illusion presentations. The caboose is 16 feet long and 12 feet high and has a self-contained sound system, generator and 6 by 10 foot stage. We have been in a number of parades, Good News Clubs, parks, campgrounds and the like. Give me a space big enough for my truck and the trailer and about 10 minutes and I can be doing a presentation before you know it.
Up to now I have been limited to daytime shows due to the small size of my generator (1000 watts) but I have recently had a 5000 watt generator donated so I will be adding lights so I can do night-time shows.
If you have a Children's Evangelistic event scheduled I will be glad to come and help out. I don't have a standard charge but I do accept love offerings do defray the expenses associated with towing and maintaining the Caboose.
